This year’s event will be held at the Younes Conference Center North in Kearney, Nebraska on October 2-3.
The 2025 Convention theme is “Nurses in Action, Storytelling, Leadership, and Advocacy", and we have some intriguing presentations planned for the event this year.

Call for Poster Abstracts
The Nebraska Nurses Association is seeking poster abstracts from Nebraska nurses and student nurses for their 2025 NNA Annual Convention in Kearney on October 2 and 3, 2025. This is an opportunity for you to showcase your research, evidence-based practice or quality improvement to nurses from across the state participating in the event. Topics pertaining to clinical practice, patient education, or current trends in nursing/healthcare are encouraged. Both specialty and general nursing topics will be considered. Poster author(s) must have a current nursing license in the United States.
Accepted abstracts will be featured as poster presentations and the author(s) will be present at Convention for questions/feedback during several poster viewing sessions.
Abstract Submission Deadline: June 10, 2025 deadline extended to July 1, 2025

HOTEL
Sleeping rooms have been blocked for the Nebraska Nurses Association at the Crowne Plaza Hotel – Kearney for October 1 and 2 at a rate of $160.00 plus taxes.
Reservations can be made by contacting the hotel at 308-238-7000 identifying yourself with the Nebraska Nurses Association or clicking here to make your room reservation online. Online reservations must be made on or before September 4, 2025.
Following the deadline, reservations can be made by contacting the hotel directly, if sleeping rooms are available. Please know the daily rate will increase, possibly significantly.
DISCLOSURES
- Successful Completion – Participants must pre-register, check-in on both days, participate in a minimum of three educational sessions, submit a verification of attendance form noting the sessions attended, and complete the online evaluation to receive a certificate of completion.
- Contact Hours – Participants meeting the successful completion requirements will receive contact hours. Total number of contact hours TBD.
- Relevant Financial Relationships – No relevant financial relationships were identified for any member of the planning committee or any presenter/author of program content.
ACCREDITATION
The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
