2026 NNA Omaha MIG - Legislative Reception

Please join Nebraska nurses for the 2026 Nurses Legislative Reception on August 25, 2026 hosted by the Omaha Metro Nurses Mutual Interest Group (MIG) of the Nebraska Nurses Association. 

This event provides nurses and healthcare professionals from across the Omaha metro and surrounding areas the opportunity to: 

• Meet candidates and current elected officials prior to the November election 
• Discuss healthcare issues impacting Nebraska communities 
• Share the nursing perspective on healthcare policy 
• Network with nurses, healthcare leaders, and community partners

The reception is being held at the Thompson Alumni Center on the campus of the University of Nebraska - Omaha from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Centennial Hall. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available. 

Nebraska nurses are invited to join us for an evening of conversation, connection, and civic engagement!

There are two ways that you can help support this event: 

Individual Ticket - $40.00

Individual Tickets may be purchased until August 15, 2026 at 5:00 pm

Sponsorship Options

Individual Sponsorship - $150.00
includes a total of 4 tickets to the event

Silver Sponsorship - $300.00
includes a total of 8 tickets to the event

Gold Sponsorship - $500.00
includes a total of 13 tickets to the event

Platinum Sponsorship - $1,000.00
includes a total of 25 tickets to the event

As a sponsor of the Omaha Metro MIG Legislative Reception, you will receive recognition of your support in activity materials, communications and signage at the reception, and each level includes a specific number of tickets to the event.

Candidates & Current Elected Officials

Nebraska nurses invite candidates and current elected officials to join us for an evening of conversation and connection prior to the November election.

This reception offers candidates the opportunity to:

• Connect directly with nurses and healthcare professionals
• Discuss healthcare issues impacting Nebraskans
• Engage with healthcare leaders from across the state
• Build relationships in a casual, nonpartisan environment
